Factory Reset Procedures

Mercury Security Boards

Post-Reset
Reconnect via EntraPass Go or KT-400 Config Tool. Default server IP resets to 0.0.0.0—must re-point to your EntraPass server.

Critical Warning
*97 on Vista panels wipes everything—zones, users, comm paths, report codes. Have your programming worksheet ready before executing.
No Hardware Reset Button
Vista panels have no physical reset button—power-on key combo is the only entry point to programming mode.
Axis Communications Cameras
Hardware Reset
- Hold control button 10+ seconds until LEDs flash
- Camera reboots automatically
- IP resets to DHCP; admin password resets to root / pass
Software Reset
- Web UI → System → Maintenance → Default
- Requires current login credentials
AXIS Camera Application Platform (ACAP)
- Press and hold control button 15 seconds
- Removes all ACAP applications
- Camera firmware remains intact
Default Access
http://[dhcp-ip] or http://axis-[serial] — user root, password pass (or device PIN on newer firmware).
Find IP
Use AXIS IP Utility, AXIS Device Manager, or check your DHCP lease table.
Reset Button Location
- Most models Small button under removable dome cover or on cable gland
Hanwha / Wisenet Cameras
Hardware Reset
- Hold reset button 5+ seconds while powered
- IP resets to 192.168.1.100
- Login: admin / 4321
Wisenet Device Manager
- Select camera → Initialize → Factory Default
- Requires camera to be reachable on network
Web UI Reset
- Setup → System → Initialize → Factory Default
- Requires current admin login
Wisenet NVRs
Hold front panel reset 10 seconds. Resolves to 192.168.1.200.

- Most cameras Recessed button on cable tail or inside junction box
Avigilon Cameras
Hardware Reset
- Hold reset button 15 seconds
- Camera reboots twice
- Defaults to DHCP
ACC Software Reset
- Camera → Configuration → Restore Defaults
- Requires ACC admin or direct camera web login
H4 / H5 / H6 Series
- Press and hold reset until status LED goes solid red, then releases
- Full factory default including ONVIF passwords
Default Access
DHCP-assigned IP. Use Avigilon Control Center or Avigilon Camera Configuration Tool to discover on network.
ONVIF Default
If ONVIF was enabled, credentials reset to admin / [camera serial number].
Reset Button Location
- H-series Button inside housing, accessible via tamper switch area
